SEATTLE — New Hope Baptist Church owns two small houses immediately south of its building in the south end of Cherry Hill, about a block north of East Yesler Way. Now, with architect Weber Thompson and the Low Income Housing Institute, there's a plan to redevelop with a seven-story, 17-unit affordable housing project.
The midblock site at 114 21st Ave. totals 7,200 square feet. The houses to be removed are both over a century old.
