Ballard property sells for $5M

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — The Monkey Bridge and Ballard Optical building, at 1723 N.W. Market St., sold for almost $5.2 million, according to King County records.

The buyer was Ballard Retail Commons LLC, which is associated with apartment investor and developer Preston Walls. Public records indicate a loan from the seller.
