Wallace gets OK for upzone at Northgate Station

  • Plans call for 1,100 units for the 5-acre site.

    Five years ago, Wallace Properties paid $33 million for the low-rise Park at Northgate apartments, near Northgate Station, where light rail service begins next month. Three years ago, Wallace began an application with the city to upzone the over 5-acre property. The city just approved the plan, and issued a SEPA determination of non-significance for the upzone.

    The Park’s three-building replacement project would be a short walk to the light rail line and redeveloped mall.
