Senior units eyed for Bellevue site

BELLEVUE — A medical office building sold for $1.3 million three years ago. The owner operates what it calls JKW Medical Group at 11504 N.E. 21st St. That's just east of Interstate 405, north of Overlake Medical Center.

Now there's a plan to knock down the old building to develop what the owner calls Life Zone Senior Medical. The proposed four-story building would include 14 units for seniors, a pharmacy, medical services and a “roof garden” — which seems to mean fourth floor terraces. Eighteen structured parking stalls are indicated in the plan by architect Atlas Assoc.
