LIHI to turn Tacoma hotel into shelter

TACOMA — The Low Income Housing Institute has purchased a former Comfort Inn in Tacoma to turn into a temporary homeless shelter.

The former hotel at 8620 Hosmer St. is 38,000 square feet and will provide 120 beds for individuals currently experiencing homelessness.
