On the Block: Spring District achieves LEED neighborhood standard
On a building-to-building basis, you've heard of LEED Silver, LEED Gold and LEED Platinum. Now get ready for LEED-ND, which is the neighborhood development standard recently awarded to the Spring District in Bellevue.
What it means for that 36-acre development, anchored by the offices of Meta (Facebook), is “a major step toward becoming the pinnacle of sustainable, transit-oriented, mixed-use neighborhoods,” in the words of developer Wright Runstad & Co.
