Bellingham's big deal: Retail center sells for $53M after 32 years

This is the first sale for Sunset Square since it was developed three decades ago.

In a very significant transaction by Whatcom County standards, the Sunset Square retail complex in Bellingham has sold for $53 million. CPX brokered and announced the deal at 1055-1275 E. Sunset Drive. That's just east of Interstate 5, at Exit 255, which leads to Highway 542.
