Puyallup site sells for nearly $28M

PUYALLUP — A 49-acre South Hill development site, bound for single-family housing development, sold for almost $27.7 million, according to Pierce County records.

The seller of the unaddressed land was Area 17 at Sunrise LLC, which is associated with Corliss Development. That family-run group has been a major landowner, later turned developer, since opening a gravel plant in 1892.
