Apartment plan filed for Aurora site

SEATTLE — An old auto-sales property at 8101 Aurora Ave. N. appears bound for sale and redevelopment.

The owner, a used-car dealer, recently filed plans for a new five-story apartment building. LEV Architecture filed the early proposal, with the total unit count not provided. About 36 structured parking stalls are indicated, along with a bike room. Nine live/work units at grade would be relatively large, with up to 790 square feet. Above, SEDUs are indicated (small efficiency dwelling units).
