SEATTLE — The Low Income Housing Institute has been awarded a $1.9 million contract from the King County Regional Homelessness Authority to establish and run an RV Safe Lot for those currently living in their vehicles.
Like the Tiny House Villages that LIHI operates, the lot will be fenced, with 24/7 security and will have hygiene amenities that include showers, restrooms and laundry facilities. Those on site will also have access to support services intended to find them a permanent housing solution.
