Demolition may facilitate the sale of the land and its MUP.

A 116-unit apartment plan at 444 N.E. Ravenna Blvd. received its master use permit a little over a year ago. Johnston Architects designed the seven-story project for longtime landowner Flatiron Properties. Possibly to expedite the sales effort, via broker Century Pacific, demolition is now underway for the 58-year-old office building that occupies the midblock site. It's a few steps from Green Lake.
