Capitol Hill corner in play, after landmarks two-step

Lawton & Moldenhour designed several Seattle landmarks; this one won’t likely join their company.

A now graffiti-covered and empty eyesore, at 1550 E. Olive Way, last traded for about $1 million in 1987. Capitol Hill was a much different neighborhood back then; and the corner building, at East Denny Way, once had a healthy mix of small businesses.
