Summer start for 202 apartments in International District

Looking southeast, with Seventh at right, the building and its retail will face the streetcar stop on Jackson.

Housing Diversity Corporation recently announced that it'll break ground this summer at 701 S. Jackson St. The vacant former gas station and garage is now fenced and awaiting demolition. (That permit came in February.) That's on the corner of Seventh Avenue South, about a block west of the freeway.
