54 Pinehurst units proposed

SEATTLE — North Seattle Church of the Nazarene has long owned its property at 13130 Fifth Ave. N.E., just east of Interstate 5 in the Pinehurst area. It's also mere steps north of the planned new Northeast 130th Station, which Sound Transit will add to the light-rail extension from Northgate to Lynnwood. That might open in 2026.

The church now has three small buildings on about 2.6 acres. Ankrom Moisan Architects recently filed a new three-story, affordable housing proposal for the middle of the property, now mostly used for parking. That's evidently Phase I, to have 48 or 54 units (numbers conflict in the city filings). A bike room is planned, with up to 60 stalls.
