315 Pierce County units sell for $93M

PUYALLUP — The recently completed Ascend Rainier Ridge, at 10423 Rainier Ridge Blvd. E., has sold for $93 million (after a nearly $1 million personal property deduction), according to Pierce County records.

The seller was DHIC-Lipoma LLC, associated with DHI Communities, which acquired the land for an unknown amount, then developed it. DHI and related company D.R. Horton have bought up many acres there, east of Frederickson and well south of Puyallup, for communities including Rainier Ridge and Lipoma Firs. That area has hitherto been mostly gravel pits and landfills.
