Sound Transit: developer for prime U District site wanted

The site is a short walk east to U District Station.

As planned, Sound Transit and the city of Seattle put out a joint request for proposals last week, first published in the DJC, to develop the corner property at 1000 N.E. 45th St. Affordable housing is the goal, and the plan for the surplus property has been brewing for several years.
