Light-rail stations, and their implications, in SLU and Uptown

SLU gets two stations, and Seattle Center one, west of the campus.

Sound Transit’s board of directors met last week to consider, among other agenda items, where to put its planned stations in South Lake Union and near Seattle Center. Those are a trio of stops on the future light-rail line from West Seattle to Ballard; planning has been underway for years. The goal is to begin service in 2039.
