Food, fashion on Occidental Square

SEATTLE — Facing the park at 210 Occidental Ave. S., Cherry Street Public House was an original tenant when Weyerhaeuser moved into its handsome new headquarters building.

That was circa 2017. Then, of course, the pandemic. Weyerhaeuser's office workers went home. The lunch trade and happy-hour patronage plunged, and many bars and restaurants shuttered in Pioneer Square and the Stadium District.
