Lynnwood approves 256 units near light rail and mall

Earlier this month, the city of Lynnwood approved a reduced but steadily percolating apartment plan at 18789 Alderwood Mall Parkway.



393 units planned in Rainier Valley

Once a Safeway, until it shuttered in the 1990s, then later dubbed Rainier Mall, a long-vacant building at 4208 Rainier Ave. S. succumbed to fire on Tuesday evening. Two mixed-use apartment buildings are proposed for the site.
