Description
The North Creek Storage Facility consists of the construction of a 6 million-gallon underground reinforced concrete wastewater storage facility. The project site is located between existing office building complexes in Bothell and adjacent to I-405, south of Northeast 195th.

The cast-in-place concrete tank is entirely underground, including a tank draining system with four submersible pumps. Two stair towers and an electrical room will be constructed above-grade, as well as an odor control and ventilation system.

Sewer manholes, a 54-inch-diameter sanitary sewer, a 42-inch-diameter sanitary sewer, landscaping, irrigation and an underground reinforced concrete diversion structure are also included in the project.

Following construction of the wastewater storage facility, a community sports field will be built on the project site. The excavation will be larger than a football field and about 40 feet deep. It will be constructed in phases using sheetpile shoring walls that are internally braced.
