Description
The MCA Deployment Facilities is a $31.96 million design-build project that has three main elements: a transportation inspection point, railhead, and container/pallet handling facility.

The transportation inspection point area contains a vehicle inspection facility, vehicle maintenance facility, two scale houses with platform scales, a deployment control facility, defueling and wash stations, guard house and hardstand area.

The railhead includes eight new spur loading tracks. Also, existing spur line rails and ballast will be reworked.

The container/pallet handling area includes relocation of the existing maintenance area known as Marv’s Yard that has a warehouse and an administration facility. There will also be a new large container/pallet handling building with outdoor storage areas.

Major improvements to roadways and lighting in the work areas will be incorporated.
