Ferguson Construction’s donations were instrumental in developing a family and child care center in Bellevue.

Ferguson Construction shows its commitment to community involvement in numerous ways, including monetary donations and participation in charity events.

On one big project, Ferguson collaborated with Costco Wholesale and Bellevue Community College to build the Early Learning, Family and Child Care Center. In order to meet the specific and limited budget, Ferguson donated its general condition costs, overhead and profit — almost $250,000.

Ferguson’s charitable efforts for the learning center included donations of money, preconstruction and construction services. The company also provided its in-house legal resources to help structure the funding and contracting of the entire project.

Ferguson’s value engineering efforts and donations from subcontractors and suppliers resulted in an additional $350,000 in savings for the project.
