St. Anne’s School

The St. Anne’s School remodel involved a major renovation, seismic upgrade and modernization of a 1922 unreinforced masonry school — plus construction of a new three-story multipurpose building.

The three-story school was demolished down to the structure, rebuilt with seismic upgrades, new mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, walls, flooring, ceilings and finishes in three months.

St. Anne’s limited funds were maximized with aggressive value engineering (over $266,000 saved). The project was planned with separate costs for the “base project” and the “wish list” alternates depending on the results of fundraising.

Lease Crutcher Lewis had a perfect safety record and the contractor managed significant risks of working on a site where school children were present.
