Jeff Arviso, a General Construction worker since 1993, was cited for his role in the Building 7111 addition and service pier upgrade project for the Navy in Silverdale.

Arviso’s work on the submarine storage facility and pier upgrade showed effective communication and perseverance through hundreds of request-for-informations and change orders in excess of $3.6 million.

The Navy issued one contract to the General Construction/Wade Perrow Construction joint venture instead of two. Arviso helped unify the project team and provided leadership to successfully complete the project.

The Navy said Arviso’s “pro-actively aggressive attitude” made the project a success.
