Northwest Construction performed more than 140,600 employee-hours of earthwork and underground utilities work on the Microsoft campus without a recordable accident.

Northwest Construction, a member of the AGC Safety Team, had nearly 450,000 hours of self-performed work in 2007 with only two lost work days.

The company has an established safety steering committee composed of a representative from every facet of the company. With the input and combined skills of laborers, operators, Teamsters, mechanics, supervisors and management, the committee promotes safety policy and the change process required to put safety into practice. Northwest Construction, a member of the AGC Safety Team, had nearly 450,000 hours of self-performed work in 2007 with only two lost work days.
