Emerick Construction believes the best time to impress upon employees the value of safety is right at the start.

All new Emerick employees go through an orientation prior to starting any work on the job site. The topics include safety program overview, safety meeting information, accident reporting (including near-miss reporting), disciplinary action procedures, return to work program, safety equipment, line of communications, overview of hazards on the job site, site-specific fall protection plan, emergency action plan, location of first aid supplies and material safety data sheets, and drug policy review.
