During site-specific meetings held each week, J. Harper Contractors employees are briefed on the project’s safety requirements.

J. Harper Contractors believes constant communication among all employees is a key to safety success. Among the safety issues the firm will discuss are accidents other demolition companies from around the country have experienced.

On each J. Harper project, all employees are briefed during weekly site-specific safety meetings on the safety requirements for the project. This covers personal protective equipment, physical hazards, chemical hazards, emergency procedures and more.

With nearly 35,000 employee-hours worked in 2008, J. Harper had zero lost work days or recordable injuries. Plus, J. Harper has seen a tremendous reduction in its state Department of Labor and Industries worker’s compensation rate and experience modification rate factor.
