IMCO’s On the Spot Safety Award is given to employees or subcontractors who are seen working safely or reporting a safety hazard or concern.

Part of IMCO’s safety success can be attributed to its On the Spot Safety Award. The award is given on the jobsite when employees or subcontractors are seen incorporating safety into their daily tasks or taking the initiative to report a safety hazard or concern.

Another part of IMCO’s success is its use of Safety Task Assignment, a process that requires management/supervisors and employees to evaluate the day’s activities, identify known and potential HSE hazards associated with the task, and determine work practices to complete the task safely. They must also address requirements for all personal protective equipment, establish that all crew members understand the information and execute the task as described, or stop and repeat the Safety Task Assignment process.

IMCO is an AGC Safety Team member.
