Employees at Korsmo rotate through a safety committee to help them understand that they are a vital part of making every jobsite safe.

Korsmo Construction shows confidence in its safety policies by having an open door policy.

The company has an open door with the state Department of Labor and Industries, and the president holds unannounced walk-throughs with the safety director. Employees are encouraged to communicate any suggestions, problems or hazards with supervisors at any time.

Employees rotate through a safety committee to help them understand that they are a vital part of making every jobsite safe. New employees are paired with more seasoned employees to keep the chain of communication open both ways.

Korsmo gives out a Greatest Safety Performance award, voted on by upper management, that acknowledges both attitude and consistency. As an AGC Safety Team member, Korsmo strives to keep each and every employee safe in all jobsite conditions.
