Callison Architecture

US Bank Building
Callison considers the U.S. Bank Centre Building one of its finest.

The original partnership began as a small Seattle architectural design practice. As a result of designing a renovation to John Nordstrom's residence, the partnership began what is today a long-standing, nationwide relationship with this retailer.

By 1975, Tony Callison's small firm expanded into The Callison Partnership. In the mid-1980s, it became an S-corporation, growing after that time at an average rate of 20 percent a year. Presently, 24 partners share ownership as Callison continues to develop into a diversified, multinational practice.

Callison has entered the international arena by following existing clients as well as developing relationships with major multinational corporations. For example, it has worked with Japanese-based clients on projects, beginning in Seattle and then in Japan and other Asian countries. Callison has designed projects in more than 20 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Mexico, Taiwan and Thailand.
