In addition to its walls being constructed with insulated concrete form (ICF) blocks, the Barker residence used concrete for floors in the kitchen, baths, entryway, hallways, bedroom and storage area. Concrete flatwork was stamped, stained and sawcut. Concrete was also used for the home’s countertops and sinks in the bath, utility and bonus rooms.
