Reflexology Path at Sammamish Library

Reflexology is an ancient healing art based on the belief that reflex points exist in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to all parts of the body.

More than 2,000 stones were hand-placed into the concrete not just for their visual appeal, but also according to their size, texture and measurement in order to hit specific pressure points of the feet. Careful planning and timing were required in order to build the path accurately.

Using concrete, the builders were able to create a durable hold on each stone, ensuring the longevity of the path.
