Owner: CRS Financial II LLC

Architect: Connell Design Group

Davis Schueller Inc. was brought on board well before planning of the tenant improvements for CRS Corporate Centre began. The owner asked for help with the due diligence inspection process in preparation for its purchase of the building, which was occupied by Boeing for 10 years then vacant for the past four years.

Davis Schueller assisted with research; identified problems with the building’s existing mechanical, electrical and fire alarm systems; and tested for water penetration at the building’s exterior.

During construction, Davis Schueller crews helped coordinate meetings with local utilities to optimize building efficiencies and realize savings. By working with Snohomish County PUD and the lighting subcontractor on a complete lighting retrofit of the building, the owner received a $45,000 rebate check from the PUD. Another $50,000 rebate was issued for installing a new mechanical control system and drive controls.

The contractor performed significant upgrades to the six-story building’s common areas, as well as tenant improvements for four tenants: Mortgage Investment Lending Associates, Next Online Services, CRS Management and itself.

No injuries were recorded over the project’s 4,000 labor hours.

Engineers Northwest was the engineering firm. ABC members on the job included Employer Resources Northwest, Lovsted-Worthington, MIS Construction Software, Western Waterproofing, Salmon Bay Sand and Gravel Co., White Cap Industries, Democon and North Star Electric.
