ABC 2006 Excellence in Construction Awards

A panel of judges selected 10 projects as winners of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington’s 2006 Excellence in Construction Awards.

“ABC is honored to have members who build commercial projects that run the gamut from churches and schools to mixed-use and industrial projects,” said Nick Cooper 2005-2006 ABC chair and owner of Cooper Johnson Enterprises. “These projects are indicative of the high standards made possible when contractors and subcontractors are selected on the basis of merit — qualifications, performance and price.”

This year’s judges pored over 19 entries. The panel included Bill Okazaki of CollinsWoerman, Stephen Southerland of Miller Hull, Phil Brown of the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce, Carl Molesworth of Pacific Builder & Engineer magazine, and John E. Schaufelberger of the University of Washington’s Department of Construction Management.
