Belt Collins is a Honolulu-based international landscape design firm continuing to expand its foothold in the Northwest. In the five-person Seattle office, the workload has remained constant this year with annual revenues of $500,000. Recent local projects include the Plateau Tennis and Recreation Center, new Sahalee Clubhouse, Semiahmoo Resort and Willows Run putting course. In the public sector, Belt Collins is providing site planning and landscape design for Juanita Bay Pump Station.

Outside the region, the firm has been working on several projects in China, including the Jin Jiang and Hun Nam residential communities in Guangzhou, the Sunny Bay Resort on Hainan Island, and the Sai Sha commercial, residential and recreational complex in Hong Kong’s New Territories. Belt Collins also has several ongoing projects in Florida, the Caribbean and Hawaii.

The firm's network of offices work has proven beneficial during the inevitable changes of regional economies, according to Seattle office director Jerry Coburn.
