Site Workshop

Site Workshop was founded this year by Robert Shrosbree, who formerly headed the Seattle office of EDAW. The 5-person office has a range of projects institutional, health care, commercial, campus, parks and residential markets throughout the Puget Sound and in the Bay Area, Idaho and southern California.

“Our projections, given current and pending volume of work, will be in excess of $600,000 for this year," he said. "With this, we will have six professional staff plus full time administrative assistance by mid-year.”

The firm is at work on several large-scale projects. The Festival Pavilion at Seattle Center will have an open, green commons with a new exhibition building, a festival plaza and the International Fountain.

Olympic College is a new branch campus on a 20-acre, forested site in Poulsbo. It combines existing wetlands and forest with new trail systems, two plaza/student commons areas and parking for 500 cars.

The University of Washington Medical Center/Surgery Pavilion is a gateway to the medical campus. It incorporates a special garden at the main entry.

Sonoma Country Day School is a 25-acre private school that incorporates a set of outdoor rooms, courtyards and landscape features to reinforce the environmental, arts and science programs.

The Fort Lewis Community Master Plan establishes guidelines for the design of streets, parks and residential neighborhood landscape for a renovation of housing and community facilities.
