Belt Collins

Belt Collins’ primary areas of practice currently include urban planning and design, hospitality and recreation projects, commercial developments and residential design. The firm has an international network of offices with projects in Europe, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim and Asia as well as a five-year-old office in Seattle.

Working in markets around the world has been beneficial during the inevitable changes of regional economies, although the firm is committed to working in the Pacific Northwest, according to director Jerry Coburn.

Last year Belt Collins increased the staff with the addition of another landscape architect, bringing the total number of Seattle employees to six. Annual revenues last year totaled $500,000, and this year the office projects annual revenues to reach $600,000.

Current and recent projects include master planning for Coyote Run at Sunset Ridge Community in Ephrata, long range planning and landscape renewal for Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, park and residential neighborhood landscape for Castle Pines Community in Sammamish, park design and entry monument for Lakeland Community in Auburn, landscape master plan for Rainier Country Club in Seattle, and site planning for Juanita Bay Pump Station in Kirkland. Belt Collins Seattle also has ongoing projects in Florida, Hawaii, China, Japan, Morocco, Tunisia, Spain and Micronesia.
