George F. Russell Jr. Hall, a mixed-use building with 31 one-bedroom and studio apartments, was built with more than 90,000 pieces of brick. It sits across the street from the University of Washington campus.

The George F. Russell Jr. Hall is a six-story, 64,000-square-foot mixed-use project that houses office, retail, apartments and parking.

The project, which was built with more than 90,000 pieces of brick, was designed to fit the character of its University District surroundings. Other exterior materials include precast and ground-face masonry units.

Builders used low-VOC construction materials and finishes to help the project achieve a LEED silver rating.
