The Orion Building brings 14,000 square feet of sustainably constructed dental/office space to the California Avenue Southwest business core.

From the beginning, the team envisioned a project with an eye toward longevity and sustainability. Masonry block became a vital component in achieving those goals.

The design team selected an innovative concrete form masonry unit system that resulting in an insulated and watertight wall. Not only did the CFMU wall have the durability and fire rating needed for a party wall, but it met the required thermal performance for an exterior wall without additional bulky, insulated furring walls.
