Over $130M invested in affordable housing

The Filipino Community of Seattle has been awarded funding from King County for the second phase of its Filipino Community Village project in the Rainier Valley. Phase two is an affordable family housing building with 56 units.

The region's affordable housing stock got a major boost last week as the city of Seattle and King County announced an over $130 million combined investment in affordable housing projects that will create over 1,500 new units.
