Double-decker glass elevator debuts at the Space Needle

The Skyliner elevator is the first glass, double deck, outdoor elevator in North America.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, visitors to the Space Needle were offered a unique, constantly shifting view of Seattle and the Puget Sound, as a new double-decker glass elevator started carrying people up and down the 605-foot landmark.
