Spokane County plans new sobering center

Architect Bernardo Wills is collaborating with Stantec and Graham Construction on the one-story, 16,000-square-foot project.

Over in Spokane, the county owns a full city block at 1328 W. Gardner Ave. That's on the north side of the river, in the West Central neighborhood. It's now home to surface parking and a garage, plus a few small old industrial buildings.
