Chumash Museum by Jones and Jones

The Welcome Gallery (left) and the classroom (right) frame the curved west terrace of the Chumash Museum & Cultural Center.

The Chumash Museum & Cultural Center in Santa Ynez, California, was designed by Seattle-based Jones and Jones Architects, who also did the landscape architecture for this project. The design emulates a traditional Chumash village. It opened in May of this year.
