Money available to help meet Clean Buildings standard

  • Compliance for the first group of covered buildings begins June 1.

    The state Department of Commerce is accepting applications for a series of funding sources aimed at assisting both public and private building owners to comply with the state's Clean Buildings Performance Standard (CBPS).

    The standard is outlined in the Clean Buildings bill, which was signed into law in 2019, expanded in 2022, and augmented in 2023.
