Kidder Mathews plugs a hole in Fremont retail frontage

A fresh coffee operation is brewing at the Fremont corner, formerly home to Starbucks and Peet’s Coffee.

With the ongoing paving and street work just north of the Fremont Bridge, meaning frequent pedestrian detours, retailers have taken a beating. The pandemic hurt, too.
