Habitat to honor President Carter

SEATTLE — Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties (Habitat SKKC) is joining Habitat for Humanity organizations around the globe in honoring the contributions that the late President Jimmy Carter, who passed away Dec. 29, has made to the organization and to Habitat homeowners over four decades.

President and Mrs. Carter worked alongside more than 104,000 volunteers in 14 countries to build, renovate and repair 4,390 Habitat homes.
