Ground broken on Bell Street improvements

The project will incorporate a salvaged historic sign bridge that formerly stood on the Alaskan Way viaduct. It will now span over Bell Street, east of the Bell Street and Western Avenue intersection.

Mayor Bruce Harrell joined the city of Seattle's Office of the Waterfront and community leaders yesterday to celebrate the start of construction on the Bell Street Improvements project.
