Piledriving hours extended as Portage Bay Bridge work progresses

This photo taken March 26 shows construction on the work platforms crews will use to build the new Portage Bay Bridge.

The city of Seattle approved a temporary noise variance starting this week to allow Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid contractor Skanska to complete the project's first season of in-water impact piledriving this month.
