Construction underway on new $300M maintenance facility at King Street Yard

Extensive pile driving and mass excavation underway at the site should be complete by the end of this year.

Crews are building the foundation for a nearly 100,000-square-foot maintenance facility at Amtrak's King Street Yard that will support its existing fleet and new Airo trains debuting on the Cascades line next year.
