Transit incentives launched amid summer roadwork

    A full northbound closure over two weekends and four weeks of lane closures are planned for the Ship Canal Bridge, starting Friday.

    With major construction projects such as Ship Canal Bridge work ramping up, and a flurry of transit improvements made in recent years, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is relaunching its transit planning hub — and throwing in fare incentives for people committing to “swap their ride” from car travel over the summer.
